What You’ll Do
As a Funding Specialist you will be an integral part of the loan process. You’ll use your strong attention to detail and keen eye for process to enter and review information for the loan including required documentation and contracted deal structure to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory statutes.

Your Role
Enter data from all contracts received into the Loan Origination System
Complete basic computations, with the assistance of the Loan Origination System, to identify that the contracted deal structure aligns and is compliant with state and federal regulatory statutes
Electronically index and process image files, related to applications and/or contracts received, appropriately within the imaging system
Review all documentation and information provided and as required to ensure accuracy and completeness based on internal guidelines and best practices in addition to state and federal regulatory statutes
Communicate with customers to confirm the terms of their contract and address any questions and/or concerns
Communicate with dealers to educate them on ACA guidelines, to notify them of various contract statuses and pending items along with providing support for any questions and/or concerns

Ideal candidate qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of general office practices and professional communication
Computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
Be able to type at least 25 words per minute
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates 100% onsite in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
