The Crop Insurance Associate is a customer focused role delivering effective insurance services to assure continued organizational growth and profitability in the crop insurance area. This role would provide quality, professional service to meet and/or exceed customer expectations. Good working knowledge of crop insurance policies and their application is key, as is -in-depth knowledge of crop insurance processing software and quoting software used. This role would also prepare market analysis and marketing plans with minimal supervision and assist in the presentation of risk management education with other agents and/or local market representatives. This role collaborates across the Farm Advisory Services team and across business units to develop a strong understanding of Farm Credit Easts’ products and services to provide valuable solutions to customer' financial and business needs. Those successful in the role have a demonstrated ability to work with customers to build rapport, confidence and sense of value.

Required Education or Experience
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job. The successful candidate must obtain Property and Casualty License within the first six months of employment.
Agriculture, environmental or sales experience. Insurance license helpful but not required for hire.
Salary range: $50,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience
