Interior Designer / Project Architect, central London
A fantastic opportunity for an Interior Designer / Project Architect to join a national market leading property development company working on some of London and the UK’s top luxury residential and commercial developments.
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum plus bonus and career progression.
Role: Permanent, full time, on-site / office based role.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer/ Project Architect to join our creative and dynamic team. You will be based at our Marylebone office as well as on-site at our development properties in central London. You will be part of the UFF Property development team.
The role will include working on property developments and schemes, as well as refurbishments of luxury residential and commercial developments across the UK including... properties based in London, Manchester and Dublin.
We are looking for someone to join our team who has a detailed design eye and a very organised way of working. You will work on the design and interiors of the properties, which will include CAD drawings, project management and working alongside an expert team of contractors, builders, painters, architects, surveyors and design teams.
We are looking for someone with an immediate start and the ideal candidate will be based in central London or within a reasonable commute.
Duties will include:
• Prepare dimensional site drawings, installation drawings and system layout drawings in CAD.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes.
• Review drawings, specifications and other documentation.
• Maintain all relevant documentation and logging of drawing references to ensure compliance to internal standards.
• The creation of designs and interiors.
• Helping to choose suppliers and contractors.
• Ordering equipment, products, assets and samples.
• Supervising on-site teams and contractors with build and refurbishments.
The role will be partially office based at our Marylebone, central London office and at our development sites in central London.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate should have/display the following:
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software to create plan drawings.
• Ability to build strong working relationships.
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude and someone who continuously looks for solutions.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Microsoft Office suite experience and practical knowledge.
• Able to generate plan layout drawings from sketches, specifications and images.
• Knowledge of standard drafting practices.
• Able to work efficiently managing time and resources.
