Chemistry Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth
We are pleased to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth, known for its commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment. They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving Science department and inspire the next generation of scientists. The role entails:
• Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Fostering a passion for science and critical thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the future.
• Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential.
• Collaborating with... colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Ideal Candidate:
• Passionate about Chemistry and its real-world applications, with a strong commitment to student success.
• Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
