Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Merton, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an individual who possesses:
• A degree in Design & Technology or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons to secondary school students
• A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering creativity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Planning and delivering inspiring Design & Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Designing and implementing a challenging and innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
• Assessing student progress... and providing constructive feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the department's teaching and learning strategies
• Contributing to the wider school community
