Our wellregarded Westminster secondary school seeks a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join our dynamic English department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of literature and language in students fostering their communication and critical thinking skills.
About the Role:
As an English Teacher you will:
• Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 78) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 911).
• Foster a love of literature and language in students encouraging exploration of a wide range of texts and developing their critical analysis skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively.
• Contribute to curriculum development ensuring it aligns with the schools vision national requirements and the latest advancements in English education.
• Build strong and positive relationships with students... fostering their confidence in written and verbal communication.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential.
• Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress in reading writing speaking and listening skills.

• Qualified English teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of literature and language in students of all abilities.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
