Job Descrption
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in North West London. The ideal candidate will have a love for the Spanish language and culture, a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment, and a strong desire to help students achieve fluency and confidence in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and enhances students’ language skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to improve their language proficiency and confidence.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a passion for learning languages.
• Collaborate with... colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development, and contribute to the overall success of the school.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, cultural events, and exchange programs, to enrich the students’ educational experience.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A degree in Spanish, Spanish Literature, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
