Onboarding/Event Coordinator at Aquent

Job Descrption
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Onboarding/Event Coordinator to provide operational support for our client’s onboarding programs.
This is an 8-month, fully on-site contract, based in the Central London office. It offers £61.000 per annum, pro rata (PAYE).
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating exceptional experiences for new hires and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role focuses on new hire experiences, from pre-start processes to onsite event support, ensuring smooth transitions and positive first impressions for our new team members.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the end-to-end onboarding process, from pre-start logistics to post-start follow-up
Provide event support for onboarding programs, including in-person and virtual sessions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding activities run smoothly
Maintain and update onboarding materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company... standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to streamline onboarding processes
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for onboarding events and activities

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Comfortable learning new tools and becoming an expert user
Strong written communication skills
Exceptional customer service, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and work through ambiguity
Project management and process improvement experience
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Comfortable with public speaking and large event coordination
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with employee onboarding/new hire experience
Event planning experience
Familiarity with Salesforce and LMS (Learning Management System)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
