The Regulated Activities Team is part of Commercial Operations, who working closely with lines of business, Regulatory Compliance, Global Contracts, Legal, and IT to ensure that the Trading & Supply remain compliant with their Transaction Reporting requirements.
The Regulated Activities team is an energetic and fast-paced evolving environment, where people are encouraged to play an active role in achieving compliance against our regulatory obligations; as such the key to this role is the ability to be flexible, adaptable, open-minded, goal-orientated, and control framework conscious.
What’s the role?
In order to support significant industry change impacting the regulatory landscape, a number of opportunities exist at different levels within the Regulated Activities team.
What we need from you
We are keen to speak to individuals who have relevant experience in:
Proven track record operating business-as-usual activities and/or delivering change within a team of Transaction reporting analysts/SMEs; leadership experience would be advantageous.
Good understanding of energy trading regulations impacting Commodity products; primarily UK-EMIR, EU-EMIR, and REMIT. MAS, ASIC and other regimes such as CNMC, Dodd Frank and Canada would be useful.
Understanding of Crude Oil, Refined Oil Products, LPG, Gas, Metals, Power & Environmental Products.
Providing consultation, advice, and oversight on Transaction Reporting matters.
Data orientated. Experience developing and/or working to industry standard KPIs.
Developing and maintaining processes and controls aligned to internal policies and external regulatory obligations.
Building and developing relationship with stakeholders across business, Compliance, Global Contracts, Settlements, Risk, Legal and IT.
Problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clear conclusions and recommendations. Promoting and driving continuous improvement.
Familiar working within an agile software development framework.
Proficiency with software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, and Visio.
Experience in dealing with:
SaaS solutions, such as DeltaconX.
Trade Repositories such as REGIS-TR, and DTCC.
Registered Reporting Mechanism (RRM) such as Equias BV and Vaikoon RRM.
