The Adobe Education team focuses on the adoption and use of our creativity tools primarily within the classroom context. We work with schools and educators to ensure that creativity is fostered and nurtured in ways both meaningful and impactful.

The EMEA Education team is growing, and the new Education Manager will lead regional efforts going forward, focusing on the UK initially, and then expanding eastwards!

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Local Strategy: We’ve been driving the use of creativity tools in classrooms for years and have learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t. Some existing programs and strategies will translate locally, others won’t. You’ll research the country thoroughly and adapt strategies and models accordingly.

  • Setting and Achieving Targets: Collaborate extensively with the broader education team to define aggressive yet achievable growth goals and targets. Own the local targets and will help your team meet them.

  • Monitor Performance: Supervise growth, use, and engagement is key to this role. Stay on top of and report on progress, identify potential issues, and translate findings into revised objectives.

  • Develop Local Relationships: Adobe has a significant local presence, with teams focused on sales, marketing, research, engineering, and more. Work with these teams as appropriate to increase your own team’s capabilities and reach.

  • Manage Budget: The local education team has its own budget; be responsible for determining how it gets used most effectively.

  • Engage Key Individuals: Our greatest successes have been built on strong relationships and strategic alignment with local education authorities and decision makers. While your team will necessarily prioritize execution, you yourself will also have a client-facing responsibilities and will play a key role in nurturing relationships with key individuals.

  • Community Building: A vibrant and engaged community is integral to growth within education. You'll work with the EDU Community Team to recruit and nurture the local community.,.

  • Recruiting: We need the best people who are passionate about improving education and its outcomes. Recruit and build this team.

What you need to succeed:

This role is primarily focused on driving use of Adobe creativity tools within primary and secondary education, initially in the UK and expanding in the future. So, what will it take to succeed?

  • Leadership: To date, the small but mighty UK team has demonstrated outsized success. As the team expands it will need strong leadership to drive prioritization and maintain focus.

  • Experience: Prior experience with scaling software distribution, data analysis and reporting tool know-how, as well as familiarity with Adobe’s creative tools.

  • Strategy: The ability to plan for short and long-term goals, align with broader company objectives, and to measure and track success, data, and customer insights.

  • Communication: Clear and compelling communication skills are a must. This includes internal and external presentations, and other written communications.

  • Project Management: Strong organization, planning, scheduling, time management, and budgeting skills are all required to ensure projects and initiatives are successfully defined and delivered upon.

  • Collaboration: Support highly distributed and remote teams, including vendors, contractors, and partners. Work closely with the US-based education and community teams so that local needs and requirements are represented and addressed.

  • Education: The ideal candidate will have a deep exposure to education within the region, and an understanding of the needs of teachers and students.

  • Global Impact: Experience working at scale with projects that have reached millions of users, especially within large companies or organizations.
