The role will report into Head of Systems MENA.
MENA Systems comprises of a Manager and a Senior Systems Engineer and has been developed since 2011 and is based in Dubai with a secondary team of 3 staff (Manager and two engineers) in Riyadh Branch.
The department supports all business areas in the MENA region and supports and leads projects across the MUFG spectrum across the Middle East. Projects fall into the scope of T24 Core Banking, Transaction Procession, Regulatory Reporting, Transformation Projects such as EOL / EOS hardware software refreshes.
MENA Systems is supported by other a 1000 Systems professionals based in European London HQ .

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
MUFG are looking for a proven Business Analyst / Project Manager with extensive experience of the following key areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple project milestones to ensure a successful transition into the Production environment is achieved. The role will require working closely with all impacted teams across operational functions including regulatory compliance/ finance / Operations / Risk / Corporate Service and Riyadh Systems
The successful candidate will need extensive experience in Banking, specifically in relation to payments processing, standardisation, reconciliations, payments regulation, fraud, anti-money laundering, financial crime systems. A strong understanding and familiarity with standard market practices and knowledge, experience of the following payment platforms:
* SARIE Platform
* Watheeq / Tanfeeth
* Temenos T24
* Temenos FCM
* SWIFT
* Compute Platforms such as Cisco UCS / Nutanix hyper-converged solutions
The candidate will also need:
* an understanding regarding new Market Infrastructures (NPA) and industry standards/ changes that being introduced into the payments world, for example ISO20022, and
* experience of ISO migrations and toolsets that have been designed, implemented regarding payment translation tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must, and the candidate must have a well organised and structured approach to managing large scale programmes plus small/ medium projects, working with senior stakeholders, managing a team of project managers and support resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be responsible for change management across MUFG’s banking arm in MENA region. Under this arrangement, you will act and make decisions on behalf of the bank, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you.
