The Role: Graduate Solutions Support Analyst

The role is dynamic and provides a fantastic opportunity to build a solid career solving complex problems and working with some of the world’s top tier financial institutions.  You will be trained on the Markit EDM, thinkFolio and WSO applications, and in the informational needs of modern financial institutions.

The Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

The Impact:
The Solutions Support role is part of a global team based in Dallas, Manchester and Sydney.  You will work with clients globally in response to their day-to-day enquiries splitting your time between supporting and advising clients. Support may be as simple as answering a question on how to find a specific function, or as complex as finding the root cause of a problem.

What’s in it for you:

  • In-depth knowledge of the trading lifecycle, exposure to front office workflow and financial concepts
  • Gain understanding of Solutions’ products such as thinkFolio/EDM/WSO and their usage by clients
  • Develop technical skills such as SQL
  • Working with a dynamic team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer support requests and provide advice and guidance to clients to resolve the reported problem with appropriate quality and timeliness
  • Engage with clients to understand their workflows and make recommendations where required
  • Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows
  • Support, monitor and troubleshoot Client environments
  • Investigating and documenting existing procedures and make recommendations for improvements

What We’re Looking For:

  • An interest in the financial world and technology associated with it
  • Great attention to detail and ability to logically troubleshoot problems
  • Organized, able to multi-task, and have positive attitude to achieve deadlines
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good presentations skills (preparation and delivery)

UK Eligibility

We’re now hiring for 2024 full time roles. We’re looking for final year students who are working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent), and due to complete their studies and be available for a full-time role commencing in 2024.

To be eligible for our UK Graduate positions you must have the right to work full-time now and in the future. We currently do not offer visa sponsorship; however, we do run our programs in several locations across the globe and welcome you to consider those that are relevant to you.

Screening stage. In most locations, this screening stage will be in the form of a telephone interview.

Stage 3

Final stage

The final stage will consist of interviews with the hiring teams. You may be considered for multiple suitable roles throughout this process.
