What will be your key deliverables?
DtC Campaigns
Deploy Samsung marketing campaigns – Implement campaigns to encourage customers buy direct from Samsung. Support and align with the wider DTC teams to implement the why Samsung.com strategy and messaging as well as targeting the right customers with the right RTBs.
Creative excellence – Implement marketing communications tailored to distinct audiences driving cut through, engagement and action. Be the brand guardian for all DtC comms ensuring full compliance against Samsung brand and legal guidelines.
Integrated channel plans – Develop strong agency relationships to ensure delivery of high quality and on time/budget end to end campaigns. Development of an insight based high quality brief including offers/props, development of best in class creative/messaging and media plan, gaining internal approvals through to execution. Ensuring full compliance against Samsung product, DTC marketing, brand and legal guidelines.
Effectiveness – Set clear KPI’s and create a robust measurement framework with the support of the data and analytics team members to test, learn and optimise campaigns and report results.
Localise Assets – Manage the localisation of Global assets as relevant for reapplication across SEUK as required.
Messaging –keep updated the alignment of messaging, branding and tone across all Samsung.com assets, including messaging integration across paid search, CRM, onsite and digital assets
2. Why Samsung.com Strategy
Creative Identity – Implement the new get more creative strategy in campaigns to ensure the buy direct from samsung.com message lands with customers. Work with other teams to ensure the new creative identity is rolled-out across DTC in marketing and onsite.
Test & Learn - Set up and deliver test and learn plan, ensuring that content is optimised against engagement by defined audience.
Creative standard methodology –alongside performance marketing team to develop creative that is optimised for platform and allows the digital team to trial new media approaches. Develop consistent and standard methodology messaging guidance to bring consistency across the team.
3. Partners
Agency - Manage relationships with Agency Partners to ensure activity is being delivered on time, to budget and driving for results. Hold Agency Partners accountable, spending SEUK budgets effectively and efficiently.
Internal partners - Support in preparing for internal presentations which outline future plans and/or showcase results and learnings from plans delivered.
Budget management – Support the Marketing Lead with on-going budget management and reporting.
4. Team management
Culture - Contribute fully to the DtC team culture – that delivers on our targets, celebrates success and has fun whilst doing it.
Skills and Qualifications
What will be your key areas to deliver against?
DtC Marketing campaigns that deliver on traffic and order targets at an acceptable ROAS
Creative standard methodology in design and messaging
Strong relationships and reputations with marketing colleagues across SEUK, EO & HQ
Strong agency partner relationships
Effective and efficient budgetary management
What’s required for success in this role?
The successful applicant will have at least 4 years commercial/e-commerce marketing experience
Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including performance marketing & CRM and critical marketing metrics (ROAS, CPQV, impressions, CRM OR, CTR etc)
Understanding of on-site commercial performance metrics (traffic, orders, revenue & conversion)
Strong creative flair with excellent attention to detail
Passionate with high energy levels – ability to work in a fast paced environment
Commercially driven and comfortable with “the numbers”
Team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Succinct and clear communication style
Self-reliant – takes accountability and responsibility
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
A university degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing and/or Retail
