Summary
The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement department is a centralized, fast-paced environment and requires a high level of organizational skills, efficient use of time, and the ability to perform under pressure while managing projects to meet critical deadlines. The team is responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier relationship management, data & analytics, outsourcing, commercial terms review, and contract management across Workiva. We are currently in search of a Procurement Manager to join our team.
The Procurement Manager in a SaaS company will continue to develop procurement strategies, oversee the procurement workflow efforts while supporting operations, provide category management and reporting expertise, improve procurement policies and procedures, and lead a p-card program while supporting the strategic sourcing team.
What You'll Do
Strong knowledge of indirect categories relevant to a SaaS company, including SaaS licenses, IT and professional services, marketing, facilities management, and professional services
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Finance, IT, Security, Legal, and Marketing, to understand their procurement needs and priorities
Have a solid understanding of commercial terms and conditions to ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and accounting requirements and protect the organization's financial interests
Manage source-to-pay (S2P) procurement activities and foster effective communication and collaboration across departments, including purchase order management and new supplier onboarding
Strong technical proficiency in Coupa administration, configuration, and optimization
Develop training materials, user videos, and documentation to facilitate adoption and proficiency among procurement team members and end-users
Generate and analyze procurement reports and dashboards within Coupa to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and measure procurement effectiveness
Support corporate travel commodities, manage reporting, and documentation, and support internal business
Develop reports and notifications in Coupa’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) module and assist Strategic Sourcing with improved workflows, renewals, and contract execution via DocuSign
Analyze market trends, assess supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and oversee the creation, review, and approval of purchase orders within Coupa
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
5 years of procurement experience with a focus on indirect categories, best practices, source-to-pay strategies, and supplier management principles
Hands-on experience using Coupa procurement software (P2P, CLM, and punchouts)
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data validation, complex formulas) manipulating and analyzing large datasets
Must have a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Experience with training and overseeing onshore and offshore contractor resources
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and with suppliers
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
Coordinates Coupa eProcurement platform to include maintenance of catalogs, availability, and visibility of data to end users, user profile, site account information (account codes, rules, and roles), workflow setup and management, supplier setup and maintenance, and change management
Knowledge of internal audit SOX controls compliance processes
Experience with international procurement and managing global entities
M&A experience is highly preferred
ERP implementation experience is a plus
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
10% travel
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $101,000.00 - $172,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
