Your role at a glance
Would you like the opportunity to take ownership of an important strategic supplier analytical role in one of Europe’s largest asset managers and a major global investor?
If you are an expert in all things data and analytics in an asset management firm and have extensive experience of producing meaningful reports and dashboards that shows Outsourcing Governance, Compliance and Oversight management, then this is fantastic opportunity to join the LGIM business as a Strategic Supplier Oversight Analyst .
In this exciting role you’ll be responsible to provide critical and important data points across a portfolio of suppliers and ensure the right level of strategic supplier oversight and governance is in place for a new relationship in accordance with Group Procurement & Supplier Management Policy and LGIM Supplier Relationship Management Playbook.
Working alongside LGIM stakeholders, Operations, Compliance, IT, Operational Resilience, and other business globally you will be responsible for maintaining GSSO reporting suites that has clear visibility across and up to Executive level. This role will require you to build professional relationships at various levels, as well as being key in identifying and reporting key strategic supplier oversight metrics whilst ensuring regular due diligence activities are scheduled and completed on time.
This is fantastic opportunity for you to work closely with LGIM Supplier Relationship Management community to explore how to best evolve key insights into meaningful action. This role is full of opportunity for you to develop and progress, and you’ll be given the account ownership and autonomy needed to really make an impact.
What you'll be doing
Strategic Supplier Oversight Analysis
Production, design and upgrade of Supplier Oversight Reporting Suite
Identification and escalation of any metrics that are showing overdue across policy and playbook standards
Regular Executive Briefs both internal and external
Working with IT and Operational Resilience teams to complete, at least, annual due diligence outputs and visuals
Work with other LGIM regions to ensure that a consistent level of oversight reporting is being maintained
Working with Strategic Supplier Risk Manager to track ongoing risks and issues and ensure relevant metrics are up to date
Track expenditure for supplier and maintain an ongoing commercial view of the relationship
Actively seek ways to produce data and analytics that reduce cost and risk and improve performance and value
Producing robust Supplier Management Committee papers
Training Supplier Relationship Managers to use the SRM system
Control & maintenance of key supplier list and outsourcing register
Policy & Playbook Standards
Ensuring the adherence and monitoring of all Group P&SM / Procurement / SRM Playbook reporting is accurate and timely
On-going analysis of SRM Playbook activities with a focus of providing further intelligence on oversight of key mandatory activities i.e. Group OESS Milestones
Weekly and monthly reporting for LGIM SRM Forum; Supplier Management Committee; Executive Risk Committee; COO Committee
Identification and escalation of any metrics that are showing overdue across policy and playbook standards
Ensuring the Head of Supplier Management Oversight is kept informed of all types of reporting
Documentation
Production of Supplier Oversight Reporting Suite
Engage and collaborate with relevant functional areas to produce reporting and analysis of supplier management activities i.e., Cyber; Information Security; Operational Resilience.
Timely production and distribution of Supplier Management Forum and Committee Reporting
Team Integration
Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with LGIM SRMs and key stakeholders
Collaborating and maintaining effective dialogue with LGIM SRMs in relation to reporting issues and escalating overdue activities
Client service
Focus on suppliers with multiple client impact
Building good working relationships
Ability to provide high quality documents within tight deadlines
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be an expert in data analytics, with the resilience, drive, and network, to successful manage internal and external stakeholders. Here’s some of the experience that we’d love to see:
Some experience working in Asset Management with a knowledge outsourcing and suppliers (preferred not essential)
Relevant experience of Supplier Governance, Compliance and Oversight analytics and metrics
Good experience and expertise with relevant systems i.e. Programme tools; Presentation systems like Prezzi; Trello, PowerPoint or similar solid understanding of the supplier management process and reporting complimented by strong visuals and presentation skills
Experience using Power Apps, Automate and BI
M Code, DAX, Python and SQL experience
Ability to identify and provide solutions
Competent in capturing requirements, building dashboards, testing, and managing systems, as well as the ability to prepare and enhance formal meeting packs
Senior management communication skills with the ability to train and present to stakeholders across the business .
