Corporate Affairs brings together communications, reputation management and measurement, media performance, and Masterbrand for Group on behalf of the CEO working across all business lines under the direction of the Group Corporate Affairs Director.
You will manage project plans for initiatives across the Corporate Affairs function, report on status of projects and business delivery metrics, directly support business initiatives and insight analysis and maintain administrative and budget processes.
You will work across the following areas:
Project Management: Manage assigned projects across corporate affairs, Ongoing projects will include:
Project manage the end to delivery of financial results reporting along with the communications incident management group when the group is activated to address an incident.
Project delivery support including the administration of forums and meetings and other ad hoc project support tasks as allocated.
Administration: Budget management including budget tracking, raising purchase orders and invoices and expense management. Support the services and tools owned by Corporate Affairs to ensure delivery service levels are maintained. Manage the day-to-day support for news subscription services. Support re-negotiation of supplier service contracts and lead on new supplier set up
Media service management: Lead support of media service delivery. To include maintenance of search terms and reading lists, support in production of accurate reports and newsletters, overseeing access to service and supporting supplier relationship management
Communication: Prepare and deliver weekly communications updates to the executive. Design and deliver half yearly media reports for the US market. Stand in when needed for the Head of Corporate Affairs Programmes to include leading communications and marketing forums. Administer, capture notes and manage actions for forums. Create and deliver presentations as directed.
Analysis: Collate, analyse and present data driven research and performance statistics in support of the Group Brand insight manager. Deliver media analysis from the media agency database.
Digital Marketing: Update website content under direction (using the CMS) including uploads of press releases and support the delivery of financial results on the website as part of the core team.
Consumer Duty: Ensure communications are clear, fair, and not misleading and are fully compliant with any rules and guidance issued by the relevant regulators, including relevant data protection legislation
Take ownership for completing risk, IT, security, procurement, compliance and other process documentation as directed.
You'll need:
Experience of Project Management with the ability to prioritise whilst managing several projects simultaneously, along with strong time management and organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently focusing on priorities, and managing a high-volume of tasks, deadlines and requirements and deliver assigned tasks to agreed time and quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various internal and external businesses and support functions in an effective and collaborative way.
Strong presentation skills: both in terms of producing/editing slide decks and presenting materials to stakeholders at all levels
Relevant experience within a similar role or marketing/communications discipline combined with written and verbal communication skills and confidence to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You'll need to be proficient using Office 365 applications (particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel) plus an ability to learn new systems and be confident with budget and invoice management.
