Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Director, Reporting Central Lead for the Controllership’s Digital Transformation program. In this position, you will report to the Digital Transformation Accounting & External Reporting Lead. You will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic transformation of our reporting processes, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance Broadridge’s reporting.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all activities related to Broadridge’s financial, management, and regulatory reporting during the ERP implementation project. The role requires strong financial and accounting expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have experience with full-lifecycle ERP implementations, SEC Reporting, understand the reporting dependencies on changes to Chart of Accounts, and have experience with developing and executing reporting transformations using technology such as data lakes.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to the Newark Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote two days a week.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team through the transformation of Broadridge's reporting
Lead the project team responsible for and actively participate in the dissection and redesign of key financial reports, including SEC Reports, Investor Relation Reports, Statutory Reports, Management Reports, Regulatory Reports, Tax returns, etc.
Identify key data dependencies
Work with the Digital Transformation lead and IT resources to ensure that data lineage is properly documented
Strive to optimize the future state reporting
Work with key stakeholders in Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, etc. to identify key reporting needs and potential areas for improvement in current reporting processes
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reports
Work with Change Management lead and SOX PMO to design and implement new controls based on the future state reporting framework
Liaise with the Project Management office and provide project status updates as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Proven experience (5-10 years) in a leadership role focused on data transformation
Strong knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards, including SEC reporting, and a solid understanding of SOX compliance requirements
Strong project management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
ERP Implementation Experience (preferably Oracle Cloud)
