Where the job is based: London (Hybrid - a mix of home-based & working from Kerv UK HQ, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London, UK EC2M 2PF)

About the role:

We are looking to add a new role to our People team. This role will be central to leading Kerv talent acquisition capability through the application of our values. 

The role will manage, deliver and support programmes to enable us to attract and retain the team members who will continue to make Kerv a Great Place to Work. You will be primarily focused on UK operations and encompass some of our overseas operations.

This is a (initially) a stand-alone role, where we will expect the candidate to drive and personally deliver (with the support of the team) on talent acquisition activities across a range of our practices.  Working alongside the business leaders and their people partners, the role will hold responsibility for attraction and delivery of our talent acquisition capability. 

As the role (and you) develop we would expect the team to expand.

 

Key responsbilities:

You will be central to ensuring a great experience for all during the attraction, hiring and initially on-boarding phases of talent acquisition. This will include:

  • Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies, to identify and engage talent to join Kerv. 
  • Lead stakeholders (and work with the People Operations team) through agreed talent acquisition plans through to (initially) on-boarding.  Source, attract and lead through the talent acquisition process.  Balance direct sourcing with 3rd party support to achieve business needs.
  • Differentiate and market our proposition, work to implement new and creative outreach and employer branding strategies to attract the talent into each team.  Work support and promote internal employee development.
  • Alongside stakeholders define the best possible process to enable the selection of new hires.  Be prepared to flex and coach to achievement excellent outcomes.
  • Enable and promote DE&I initiatives internally and externally.
  • Build lasting relationships across the business, consistently exceeding expectations when it comes to quality and speed of delivery.
  • Build and report TA metrics and take actions to improved.
  • Be the guardian of compliance and governance where required, ‘see around the corners’ where hiring challenges may occur (e.g. immigration etc).

 

All about You:

  • Background in talent acquisition across a broad spectrum of functions (technology, operations, sales, marketing …) with good understanding of principles of diverse talent attraction
  • Personal delivery focus.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing processes or changes that have made a positive impact on business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to build relationships, build confidence and influence.
  • Kerv is not a one size fits all company – flexible approach will be a must, no job too large or too small!
  • Innovative, driven and data-led in approach.
