This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the office where you must be located within driving distance of Roseville, CA and be willing to come into the office on a regular basis.

Job Description
As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be leading a team of dedicated sales and marketing professionals and will play a pivotal role in steering the success of the organization by overseeing every facet of our sales and marketing strategies.
Your responsibilities will consist of about 70% sales and 30% marketing encompassing the development and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing plans, setting ambitious sales targets, efficient budget management, and astute analysis of market trends. Some responsibilities include but not limited to:
Team Management & Execution
Team Development: Develop training programs and weekly performance reviews while coaching and mentoring the Sales & Marketing teams daily.
Team Performance Management: Create and track clear and measurable goals for the Sales & Marketing Teams in alignment with organizational objectives.
Feedback and Recognition: Provide open and honest feedback to team members on their performance, offering constructive guidance for improvement. Recognizing and rewarding achievements and contributions, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
Monitor & Support: Monitor Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure they have a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities and fully execute their tasks properly. Support the team in executing campaigns and jump in to assist with closing deals when necessary.
Strategy
Brand Awareness and Visibility: Making strategic decisions to enhance brand awareness and visibility, ensuring a unique and compelling market presence.
Acquisition and Conversion: Making strategic decisions related to client acquisition and conversion, utilizing expertise to drive effective and results-oriented campaigns.
Sales and Speaking Events: Implementing strategies for sales and speaking events, focusing on opportunities that align with the overall business objectives.
Partnerships, Client, and Distributor Relationships: Engaging in strategic decision-making to cultivate and manage partnerships, client relationships, and distributor relationships.
Market Trends: Utilizing analytical skills to analyze market trends, providing insights that inform strategic decisions and keep the organization ahead of industry developments.
Resource Management: Allocating resources, including personnel and budgetary resources, to optimize team performance and achieve strategic objectives.
Collaboration: Engaging in cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring that marketing strategies align seamlessly with overall business objectives and goals.
Operations, Systems, and Processes: Implementing and refining systems and processes to increase operational efficiency within the department.
Qualifications
8-12+ years of sales management and marketing experience in the salon and beauty industry.
Proven sales track record - surpassing high volume sales quotas of at least $1 million per year selling to high end salons and spas.
High touch management experience - oversees team metrics daily and review team performance weekly.
Must have at least 3 years of paid and organic marketing experience.
Experience analyzing market trends and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies.
Tech savvy with experience using social media platforms, webinar platforms, CRMs, Zoom, Google Suite, Mac experience, etc.
Passionate and motivated about your work - you are eager to unlock your full potential and grow further in your career.
High level of professionalism but able to be playful and have fun with no ego.
Extremely organized and self-sufficient with the ability to work collaboratiely in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
Excited to work in an environment similar to a startup; you have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment.
Big bonus: direct sales relationships with salons from working at popular beauty brand distributors.
