Positions DescriptionWe seek a dynamic and experienced People Operations Manager to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be pivotal in overseeing all aspects of people operations, primarily focusing on benefits administration, compliance management, and fostering positive employee relations. This role requires a strategic thinker who understands People Operations best practices and is committed to creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefit programs while providing guidance to employees on benefit-related questions. Staying abreast of industry trends and recommending enhancements to the benefits package.
Compliance Management: Ensuring compliance with all local/national employment laws and regulations while overseeing policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
Employee Relations: Responsible for ensuring a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts; owning UK employee engagement and related event planning ; conduct investigations into HR-related issues; supporting the onboarding and offboarding experience; collaborate with the US PO team to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
Adhoc HR Support: Owning office management; assisting with UK payroll; and Talent Acquisition support as needed.
Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in Human resources
A functioning knowledge of HR compliance and employee benefits in the UK
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with different personalities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work 3+ days a week in the London office
Experience working in a start-up, with recruitment, with office management, and/or with event management is a plus
