Responsibilities:

• Undertaking a rigorous introductory training programme 
• Origination of new business across the firm 
• Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships 
• Provide timely broking services on behalf of the client-base 
• Provide updates to clients around market moves and relevant news developments 
• Develop a deep understanding of underlying markets to provide an in-depth advisory brokerage service covering everything from hedging advice to trade execution
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise services delivered to clients 
• Contribute to production of media content and marketing materials  
• Assist with desk administrative tasks, such as trade reporting and production of research reports 

Requirements

• Degree required, preferably in economics, energy or finance 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• High degree of professionalism  
• Strong analytical skills 
• Fluent in English; proficiency in another language preferred
• Natural passion for relationship building and networking 

• Able to work individually and within a team in a competitive, target-driven environment 
• Demonstrated interest in energy and financial markets 
• Willingness to travel internationally for business 
• Willingness to socialise and network in and out of standard working hours
