Job Description
Reports to IT Service Delivery Manager
Install and maintain workstation systems, peripherals, mobile devices, servers, network components, and communications equipment, as well as their software and interfaces based on defined IT standards
Implement installation and configuration specifications such as directory structure, menu system, or user interface
Receive and process hardware, software, and network and communication problems
Prepare package of hardware (laptops, monitors, etc) for new employees at their first day in office
Test hardware before handing over to new employees
IT introduction for new employees
Locate, isolate, and troubleshoot problems
Initiate escalation procedures
Coordinate the activities of vendors, consultants, and support partners
Ensure hardware, software and network component inventory is tracked
Ensure that operations manuals, instructions, and checklists are tracked
Advise and assist users with procurement projects and with the design and implementation of solutions on workstation systems
Develop simple scripts and applications for use by individual users on workstation systems and mobile devices
Solving interface and conversion problems for standard and general-purpose application software
Coordinate tasks between users and IT department
Qualifications
Higher vocational training in technology/ computer science.
Fluent English written and spoken.
At least 3 years of experience in IT Support role.
