What You'll Do
Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance financial accuracy.
Oversee payment disbursement activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regional regulations.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks within the accounts payable function.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of the accounts payable team and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to accounts payable processes.
Minimum 7 years of experience managing an accounting team
Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in Arabic (preferred).
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
