As a Junior Leather Modelist you will work closely with and support the Senior Model Maker developing and producing high quality small leather goods, bags, gift Items and luggage using hand made techniques.
Key responsibilities:
Drawing interpretation
Pattern creation
Salpa and leather product making
General bench assembly work (preparing leather skins, splitting, cutting, skiving, machine sewing, hand stitching, foil blocking, gluing)
To ensure all leather products are developed to the standards required by dunhill
Working to produce products within the agreed standard times.
To assist colleagues in the team when required
To utilise current leather skills and to improve on these through training and guidance from other team members.
To take part in any training offered to upskill current leather working skills
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and comply with the company guidelines

Good maths skills to make calculations and take measurements
