Events Intern, London
(6 month FTC - Full Time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
• Supporting across all Strategic and Institutional events, and reporting into the Events Manager (Institutional Events Lead)
• Assisting and supporting the team on various projects throughout the year
• Working closely with the Event Managers and reporting in to the Event Managers on the required project
Key responsibilities
Events
Assist and execute the required projects over the contracted period;
• Support and assist the Event Managers in the execution of various upcoming events, focused primarily on the Strategic and Institutional Events calendar
• Work closely with external suppliers
• Coordinating specific projects, suppliers, deadlines and schedules
• Support the guest list management for the Cartier Polo, Goodwood Style et Luxe and Cartier Racing Awards events
• Research and put together the monthly competitor document
• Support on gifting send outs and tracking
• Update event budgets as required and directed by Event Managers
• Support on organising event debriefs and post event reporting as required
You may be asked to work on projects / events outside your job description from time to time.
Office Management
• Arrange meetings, book meetings rooms, note taking etc.
• Strong communications skills including written and telephone skills
• Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks and admin duties
• Maintain filing system and office cupboards, and keeps all events team folders tidy and updated
• Updating Rolling Events doc periodically after each event
• SAP and invoicing processes
• Maintain and update Events Contacts list
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
• Passion for luxury industry/ competitor awareness on event activity
• Able to work to tight deadlines with composure
• Able to work in a team and individually with the ability to multitask
• Guest list experience desired
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to be diplomatic, objective, confident, reactive/pro-active, extremely organised
• Creative and ambitious, with a passion for events
• Positive outlook with an enthusiastic approach
• Results driven with a commitment to working to high standards and attention to detail
• Well presented, level-headed, personal energy, enthusiastic, engaging with a happy demeanour
• Adheres to a tidy office and desk policy
