By ensuring a top-level service for each client the VIC Client Relationship Manager is a brand ambassador of Purdey inside and outside the Boutique. Reporting to the Head of Sales for Clothing and Accessories, you will be working directly to the wider C&A commercial team and interacting closely with the other two arms of the business, the Gun Sales team as well as the Purdey Shooting School.
Key responsibilities:
Sales Performance & Service:
Delivers a unique 360° client experience during a sale in and outside of the boutique
Anticipates and organizes presentations and previews of new and existing C&A ranges
Perfectly manages all sales-related steps, from pitching to closing
Adapts to clients’ needs and motivations, manages up-selling
Strives always to surpass and exceed client expectations
Acts as a privileged contact on related customer service topics and knows how to handle them
Participate in all Purdey C&A retail client events
Manages VIC cost canter and travel plans alongside management’s approval
Contributes to the turnover in both Audley House and eCommerce, enters the brand with a proven track record on a similar level
Clients’ Relationship & Development:
Retain and Develop Existing Clients:
Work alongside CRM Manager, PR Marketing and Retail Management to implement new client development strategies, initiatives and activities to enhance client experience
Proactively interact with clients, build relationships and engage at a personal level to facilitate further return visits either in Audley House boutique or shop.purdey.com
Establishes action plans and strategies to upgrade potentials and regain lost clients
Recruit New Clients:
Develop the client portfolio by networking outside the boutique (including partnership developments with local membership clubs and hotels)
Partnership with Boutique Manager to work on Clients private viewing planning to meet monthly target
Implement new client development initiatives/activities to fulfil various types of customers’ request and interest across Purdey C&A Lifestyle, Sporting, Technical and Accessories/Gifting
Boutique Event Planning:
Support the Events Manager in the organization of Boutique events in and out of the store
Partner with Sales Executives before each appointment to prepare a range of target products to present to clients
Uses the yearly activation calendar to organize individual client journey
Operations:
Finalizes sales in the Shopify system in collaboration with the boutique and the Retail coordination
Controls discounts and contracts with intermediates following Brand directives and Management approval
Attends and participates in all Boutique Meetings and Training Events as required ensuring good communication is maintained
Supports the Boutique Management in any back-of-house/ administrative operations as might reasonably be required
Ambassador role:
Represents the Maison in all possible Brand activation events
Provides feedback and contributes to suggesting ideas and recommendations to the management team in order to achieve improvements in all aspects of the VIC customer journey
