TBA Group is a leading international provider of software and services for ports, terminals, and warehouses with over 150 live installations worldwide and we are looking for a Project Manager based in Doncaster to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software implementation projects to our customers within the agreed timeline, budget, and scope.

Please note, although we do offer hybrid/flexible working - you will be required to come to the office at least once a week so someone within commuting distance to Doncaster is required.

We aim to support our customers during the entire life cycle of their operation from design to implementation to optimisation of their operation. What you will be doing in the role of Project Manager;

• Collaborating closely with a team of highly experienced IT professionals whereby you are responsible for monitoring timelines, budgets, progress reporting, and mitigating risks in combination with developing contingency plans.
• Running effective customer meetings, informing all stakeholders of the project status, and providing an overview and clarity on the next steps and decisions to be made.
• Building trust and strong relationships with the customer and internal stakeholders.
• Implementing projects
• Engaging in discussions on alternative approaches to delivery.
• Creating a positive and productive team dynamic whereby team members feel positively challenged to hit milestones and celebrate achievements together.

What we are looking for in our Project Manager;

• Experience managing with a “hands-on” approach, including project proposals, business cases, project schedules, financial justification etc.
• Experience in planning complex project implementations.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to get the best results for the client
• Ability to analyse by using numbers and facts and review consequences.
• Ability to ask the right questions to help form good judgement.
• Ability to build and enhance client relationships.
• Experience using formal project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
• Experience working with software development teams is not essential but advantageous.
• Enthusiastic about IT, automation, and logistics

As a project manager at TBA, you will provide direction and clarity during the implementation of projects to both internal and external stakeholders. For some customers, you will coordinate a portfolio of multiple projects that are coordinated and managed as one unit/ program ensuring a unified approach.

At the TBA Group, our clients include all major terminal operators worldwide and local port operators. There is a strong international flavour to the job and travelling is involved from time to time. Implementation trajectories vary from 4 weeks to over 1 year.
