The Role:

As our People and Culture Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all queries coming into the People Team, escalating complex queries to the Senior Global People and Culture Manager where necessary. You will be coaching managers on ER matters, and managing ER cases, leading culture initiatives in the office and managing all P&C administrative task.
We are a global company and you will be involved in interesting cross-border employee relation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Employment Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on employment-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct investigations into employee concerns or grievances, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to managers on best practices for fostering positive employee relations and maintaining a respectful workplace culture.
Office Culture Development:
- Participate in our employee engagement forum, to identify opportunities for enhancing employee engagement and morale globally.
- Lead initiatives to create a vibrant office culture, including organising calendar events for diversity and inclusion and wellbeing, and recognition programs.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, such as surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
- Support the P&C Lead on projects when required.
Training and Development:
- Support with facilitating training sessions.
- Management of sourcing relevant content from our learning content provider to support employees with their development.
- Support on L&D related projects when required.
Administration:
- Manage various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records in our HR system, processing changes in employment status, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage employee benefits, across the UK and the US
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support organisational objectives and employee needs
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
- Support visa applications.
- Provide the monthly employee pay changes to our outsourced payroll providers.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a HR advisory role, with a focus on employment relations, office culture, and administration.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Understanding of US market and benefits.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
