Project Manager
PMO & Business Integrations, EMEA
This is one year contracted role and can be located in Dubai or Riyadh Boston Scientific Office.
Purpose
Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific EMEA, through the management of key projects aligned to the EMEA regional strategy. Specific responsibilities include strategic and operational planning & governance, process improvement, business analysis, organizational design, change management and development of business transformation programs.
Key Project: To lead roll out Sales Policies in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that will enable right ways of working between Commercial and Supply Chain teams in the region and foster the growth in the region. The focus of this project is to create guiding principles to ensure right process flow established and implemented, starting from Order Creation to Fulfilment within KSA Tender, Direct, Private, Public & Marketplace businesses.
The scope aims to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, work on communication, and optimize various aspects of operations within the organization
Responsibilities
Identifies business initiatives: Works with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support profitable and sustainable growth.
Manages design, planning & implementation of projects: Develops project plans outlining scope, work activity definition, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads implementation team including local country & functional representatives. Be able to organize a team and set up R&R and come with a detailed plan over the next 6-9 months how this transfers to the functional support.
Works with local country and functional team members to ensure that all supporting infrastructure including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles are developed and communicated.
Provides updates to senior management and all stakeholders, of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings. Presents changes in business strategy which could include key markets, distribution channels, pricing, processes and organization; Develops implementation strategy.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop change management strategies and tactics, to enable change over the longer term, prioritizing a collaborative approach.
Develop comprehensive measurement tools (KPI’s) to gauge the effectiveness of the project.
Facilitates collaboration between internal mainly supply chain and commercial teams and external authorities in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Medical Market
Mentors other employees in design practice and enabling systems when appropriate.
Leads and fosters communities of practice utilizing collaboration tools.
Elevate issues and clear barriers to team progress. Quickly resolve conflicts and involve functional management as required.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Complex Project and Program Management experience of at least 3 years
Ability and willingness to travel as required- 30%.
Strong understanding of Change Management practices with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Proven ability to coach, mentor and lead others in project and program management arena
Preferred Qualifications:
Management of a portfolio of programs / products at a strategic level
Knowledge in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) medical market – preferably NUPCO Process
Have extensive experience with change management and drive / implement agreed on changes
Experience in a Commercial Environment & Supply Chain would be beneficial
Strong experience interacting with internal (Marketing / Sales / Supply Chain mainly in customer care , logistics) and external end customers
Experience with communication and influencing at the highest levels of management across a cross-functional and global organization.
