What you’ll do: 

 

Position title: SAP Concur iXp Intern – Global Product Marketing Insights & Operations - SUMMER 2024

Location: Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)

Expected start date: June 3, 2024

Duration: Summer 2024

 

We are looking for an intern to support the insights and operations functions within our SAP Concur Global Product Marketing team. A few tasks the intern may conduct are the following:

  • Support the team communications activities under the guidance of our operations manager. This would include projects like, sending our monthly GPSM newsletter, coordination of team QBRs and management/upkeep/building out of our team communications channels (SharePoint page, DLs, etc).​ 
  • Scale our competitive intelligence program. He/she/they would support us in the rollout of a new C&MI platform, evaluating competitor news and helping to support the upkeep and development of competitive assets. He/she/they may also be asked to support the coordination and organization of our win/loss interview program that would help share and document best practices between our global and regional product marketing teams.  
  • Depending on the individual’s interests/educational background, we’d also proactively look for additional projects that tie to those interests and further build our their paroduct marketing experience—giving them a solid understanding of what it’s like to have a career in product marketing for a truly global technology company.  

 

What you bring: 

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

 

  • Interest in pursuing a career in product marketing and a natural curiosity about how organizations build products that meet the demands of the market 
  • Educational background suitable for with the role (communications, marketing, business) 
  • Ability to self-motivate and complete tasks independently 
  • Experience analyzing data/information and communicating what you learned back out to others 
  • Extremely strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize time and workload—and experience regularly providing regular updates on progress  
  • Strong English writing and editorial skills, and experience supporting communication activities from past internships, roles or volunteer activities
  • Proximity to an SAP office with the ability to work in a hybrid work environment (Mandatory - Wednesdays)
  • Interest in working with a global team (we have team members in all parts of the world!) and willingness to flex working hours to accommodate teams on other time zones – when needed
  • Working hours that would allow the person to regularly meet with a manager based in the east coast
  • Past internship experience in a corporate environment and/or leadership roles within voluntary groups (student-led programs, community service, etc.) are a plus
  • This role will regularly use the following tools: SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.) Tableau, Salesforce. Interest and ability to learn these tools is a requirement of the role.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
