The Opportunity
eCommerce is a key strategic priority for growth for GPN. With significant investment in to the Southern European market and a strong team, this is a very exciting place to be! The role of eCommerce account manager Southern Europe is to lead the work in collaboration with the eCommerce COE & the Southern European commercial team to help develop and grow our eCommerce strategy and business across France, Spain and Italy. Continuing to build on the very strong, existing Amazon business across these markets will be a key focus whilst also developing our business with other key eCommerce players in the market. The Ecommerce strategy needs to be created as part of an omni-channel approach, finding the right balance between brand building and commercial execution. You will be an expert at driving ecommerce sales growth, improving & evolving shopping experiences, conversion, and aligning with the overarching strategy for the business. Collaborating closely with local and central partners across commercial, marketing, Ecommerce, supply, and IT to operationalize within the organization.

This permanent position will report to the Senior Commercial Manager, Iberia.
- Responsible for owning and delivering the E-Commerce Southern Europe P&L, including performance reporting and budget management
- Collaboration with the Europe E-Commerce CoE and Europe Market stakeholders to ensure best in class execution of the Digital strategy. Including working in close partnership with the Amazon & DTC teams to effectively localize and maximise the Amazon and DTC plans in market.
- Agreeing pricing, promotional and activation plans online that compliment the broader market strategy and working with Supply, Finance & Logistics business partners to ensure forecast accuracy and avoid online out of stocks.
- Business partnership with the Retail Media and Marketing teams to build brand awareness, engagement, conversion and loyalty locally. And working with business partners internally and externally to co-create and deploy best in class content and campaigns across online platforms.
- Working with Digital Data & Analytics teams, Category teams and I&A teams to build Consumer centricity; enabling GPN to recruit and retain shoppers by segmenting and targeting, enhancing the shopper experience, and seamlessly integrating the digital ecosystem in market across all touchpoints.
- Working with the E-Commerce CoE to execute the Digital Shelf Strategy, ensuring ranging and availability meets targets in market
- Bringing thought leadership on digital first initiatives and strategies across RGM, Innovation and Marketing.
- Responsible for owning and executing the local B2C Digital strategy across existing local channels and with existing partners such as Decathlon
- Responsible for exploring new future sources of growth in market, such as new retail models, platforms and partnerships
- Building digital capability in market, and supporting Commercial teams to educate customers and retailers on digital opportunities
- Develop strategic customer relationships with other key Digital accounts in the region.
- Lead the execution of the brand.com sites in region and ownership of the P&L, closely working with COE on strategy execution
- Grow our business by accelerating the digital sales channel performance/contribute to developing marketplace strategy and plans.
- Cooperate with Commercial leaders for sales fundamentals (ie. Pricing/Promotion strategy) as part of Omni-channel approach and lead the thinking on how to activate on eCommerce.

- Knowledge of a variety of technologies, platforms, digital channels and tools in the e-commerce landscape is helpful
- A proven track record of success across various geographies and business disciplines

- Excellent project management skills Professional English skills + either French, Spanish or Italian is a plus
- Understanding of the (sports) nutrition and / or health industry is advantageous, but not a requirement.
- Experience in Commercial and Digital functions, with some experience on Amazon and/or DTC in at least one of the 3 Southern European Markets (France, Spain, Italy).
- Ideally also has some experience working with other marketplaces and DTC platforms.
- Desirable: Wellbeing, Nutrition or sports industry Experience.
