Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Analyst to join our Accounting, Compliance & Administration Team in Leeds. As a Compliance Analyst at Dr. Oetker, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting, Compliance and Administration, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and will be collaborating with various stakeholders in the business. Some of the key responsibilities include:

 

  • Data Protection
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act 2018 as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
    • Monitoring of internal Data Protection course.
    • Handling all Subject Access Requests (SARs).
  • Contract Management
    • Responsible for reviewing all commercial contracts, particularly for the marketing and category departments.
    • Assist with ad hoc legal queries
    • Responsible for the signing and archiving of the contracts.
  • Internal Audit & Risk Assessments
    • Annual or ad hoc risk assessments/ audits to all internal departments.
    • Liaising with senior members of the company.
    • Conducting of a Risk Analysis that summarises the main risks of the company per department.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Law degree or similar qualification, or experience within a legal role.
  • Understanding of legal terminology and jargon
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence to challenge and question practices

The role will be based from our Leeds Head Office (Thorpe Park, Leeds) and we are currently working to a hybrid working model where 2/3 days per week are home working. You do need to be able to commute to our Leeds Head Office, Leyland Production site and other external locations for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
