About the Role:
Britvic’s Procurement Team is responsible for sourcing all goods and services the business needs to operate. This role, within Procurement Indirects Team, is responsible for leading the Capex procurement process for all site and supply chain capital expenditures. You will manage the end-to-end capex related procurement activities including planning, sourcing execution, contracting and negotiation, contract management and supplier management. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to manage capital expenditures to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
The role reports to the Director of Procurement Indirects, and is based in Hemel Hempstead (GB), but travel to other Britvic sites on a regular basis is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide commercial inputs into the Capex planning/budgetary process across Britvic BUs, highlighting any risks and opportunities to plan.
• Conduct Capex sourcing events (inc. analysis and evaluation) ensuring Engineering, Legal, Finance and Sustainability requirements are incorporated and clearly defined.
• Lead pricing and commercial negotiations for new and existing Capex. This may include capital investments in Britvic locations or joint investments with strategic suppliers.
• Ensure all capital projects have robust contractual agreements which are approved in accordance with company Procurement Policy.
• Work closely with the Category Manager – MRO and Engineering teams to ensure close alignment between Capex and MRO procurement strategies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
• Experience within capital programme/category manager procurement role with a track record of significant value delivery
• Familiarity with Engineering contract structures e.g. MF1
• Experience of working in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical functions, particularly Legal and Engineering functions
