At Britvic we’re on a journey to become the most dynamic soft drinks company. As one of the UK’s leading players in the FMCG market we pride ourselves on setting high standards, being courageous and pushing ourselves to think outside the bottle.
We offer consumers a range of family favourite and global premium brands such as Robinsons, Tango, J2O, R. White’s & London Essence. We exist to help people enjoy life’s everyday moments.
About the Role:
Britvic’s corporate reputation is built through the trust and respect of our stakeholders, employees and communities. We always seek to be trusted and respected for all our business practices and hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of non-financial, as well as financial, performance. Central to this accountability is our sustainability agenda and ESG practices more broadly.
Sitting within our broader Strategy and Corporate Affairs function, our sustainable business team is both the architect and guardian of Britvic’s sustainability strategy. This leadership role plays a critical and integrating part of the global sustainability team, primarily accountable for ESG reporting both internally and externally, as we progress Healthier People, Healthier Planet strategies to become the most dynamic soft drinks company, creating a better tomorrow.
Key to this role is ensuring Britvic is able to comply with current and planned UK, European and International non-financial reporting requirements, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS S1 and S2), European Sustainability reporting standards (ESRS), and ESG indices (including CDP, Sustainalytics, MSCI, CDP, EcoVadis).
The internal facing element of this role involves monthly and quarterly reporting of sustainable business performance, equipping and advising key senior stakeholders with the insight and information they need to inform decision making and identify areas of continuous improvement. The role needs to work cross-functionally with teams from across the global business to develop strategies that create a better tomorrow, supporting brands, business units (BUs) and sites to operational the respective strategies.
