About the Role:
The Marketing Activation Manager supports the marketing activities across the Global Premium brands (GPA) in the assigned markets. The role is a key partner to our Distributors alongside our internal Sales and Brand Ambassadors. Britvic is a UK based soft drinks company with global presence. Britvic Teisseire International, where this role resides, is responsible for the Benelux and France home market and the global expansion of Britvic owned brands. Britvic Teisseire International (BTI) will be a critical driver of growth for Britvic to achieve its ambition of joining the FTSE 100 index on the London Stock Exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
Acts as brand owner for the territory and defines and evaluates the ‘GPA Brands' marketing activation plan, operating as a consultant and marketing expert to the Distributor, Sales team and Brand Ambassadors.
Ensures ‘best in class’ standardized marketing & sales tools and libraries are in place are developed and up to date. This includes the ‘Annual BTI Roadmap’, which is the basis for the Joint Business Plan (JBP) with distributors, as well as selling documents and others.
Builds a relationship with distributors in relevant markets and ensures that the JBP can be executed by the distributors through providing the right input.
Participates in the long-term 3 yrs. Strategic Plan as well as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the GPA Brands.
Supports the team with new products, registrations, SKU set-up, etc., and ensures progress to the BTI Activity Exec forum.
Engages with the global brand teams and wider marketing community to keep up-to-date with brand developments and best practice, as well as to provide input to the global team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Strong experience in one of the following areas in FMCG: category management, marketing activation, trade- and shopper marketing, customer management, including the creation of selling materials.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internaly and with external partners globally (expereince in the chinese market desireable)
Familiarity with the third-party distributor model and relationship-building in this context
Experience in line management desirable
Drinks industry (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) a plus.
