Function: Finance
Location: Edinburgh (the Gyle) or London based – a mix of office & home working
Salary: £58,500 - £69,500 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.
Contract: Permanent

About the role
As the P&CI Finance Controller, you’ll be responsible for leading the transformation of the HEINEKEN UK Governance and Internal Control Framework, supporting the core deliverables of the team and keeping an eye on emerging areas of focus.
You’ll support the journey to a better-connected Finance function through continuous improvement across our business processes, focussing on elimination, standardisation and simplification where possible.
This is a finance leadership role with a fair amount of autonomy. You’ll gain exposure to varied stakeholders and manage change in a fast-moving environment. Financial leadership skills and operational knowledge gained will be beneficial when moving into other HUK senior finance roles.

About the Candidate
We’re looking for a commercially aware Qualified Accountant with well-developed experience within an audit or risk management function. You’ll have a strong track record of identifying process and control improvement opportunities and influencing stakeholders to ensure these are embedded into the business.

Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day of your choice in the office and can work from home on the other two days, although but you’re more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
