About the team
As a CNAP Senior Consultant, you will deliver post sales technical consultancy for our clients. This includes the implementation and configuration of complex, large scale deployment solutions and designing solutions for products within recognised area of expertise.
What you’ll do
• Provide high level consultancy role within specialist area to peer group, customers and if applicable direct reports
• Manage and implement projects relevant to specialist area
• Manages, develops and coaches team of staff and implement performance management solutions where required
• Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate
• Acting as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support
• Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service
• Establishes productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain customer relationships
• Responsible for managing budget/ P&L to maintain spend in line with budgetary limitations
• Responsible for the adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service
• Makes decisions which impact on the success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget
• Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation
What you’ll need
• Experience of working in a team of DevOps or DevSecOps practitioners
• DevOps Tooling experience (Automation, Orchestration, CI/CD, Testing etc.)
• An understanding of Agile Delivery (Kanban/SCRUM/XP/Lean/SAFe)
• An understanding of DevOps Management (JIRA, Confluence)
• Awareness of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitLab or similar
• Experience of Hashicorp Terraform and Hashicorp Vault
• Experience of working with Cloud Native Applications practitioners
• Experience of leading Cloud Native Application Development
• Container native technologies and ecosystem experience
• Experience of Openshift, Tanzu or Kubernetes
• Certifications in Kubernetes, Openshift or VMWare Tanzu suite would be preferable
• Ideally certified in Gitlab, Terraform and Vault would be desirable
