Purpose:
Working closely with the EMEA Executive team and across a range of business divisions, the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for EMEA will:
• Align inclusion, equality and diversity strategy with business outcomes.
• Ensure conscious inclusion is built into people, client and supplier policies, practices and initiatives.
• Make a critical difference by executing upon elements of the existing DEI strategy and continuing to drive accountability and focus.
Key objectives critical to success:
• Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activities, initiatives and practices by serving as a subject matter expert in the space across the firm ensuring buy-in, engagement and commitment at all levels.
• Provide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion insight and guidance on best practice to support strategic thinking and commercial success particularly in relation to people processes, culture and behaviours.
• Provide SME expertise to the broader HR team, Conduct & Culture team, Corporate Communications and other business stakeholders.
• Continue to drive and execute upon existing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy to ensure it continues to be aligned to business goals and deliver a timeline of key projects /priorities.
• Partner with MI team to further the use of data analytics to inform plans and measure success.
• Oversee our approach to our inclusion networks, ensuring best practice and alignment of their activities with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy.
• Plan and execute a range of high impact events and campaigns to drive engagement with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion across the firm.
• Work with the HR Business Partner & Recruitment Teams and collaborate with our charity partners to develop programmes to attract and retain diverse talent pipelines and achieve the firm’s goals / targets.
• Ensure all the firm’s structures, processes and systems are free from biases and reinforce the changes in behaviour that are required to deliver a truly inclusive workplace and our publicly declared targets.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
• A proven track record of linking Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activity with both organisational and commercial benefits.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering outcomes.
• Adept in gathering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and communicating conclusions in clear and compelling way.
• Excellent persuasion and influencing skills.
• A skilful negotiator, with the ability to demonstrate both resilience and collaboration.
• A change management specialist able to create / deliver change initiatives and inspire others to get behind them.
• Proven experience of establishing effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience of successfully working with senior leadership to help design and implement projects and programme
