WHAT TO EXPECT
Do you have excellent project management skills, with a strong awareness or experience in vehicle manufacturing?
As the Senior Programme Engineer (Manufacturing), you’ll be responsible for leading and co-ordinating all Manufacturing business functions with the objective of enabling production solutions for new JLR Vehicle Programmes and achieving excellence in Manufacturing delivery to time, cost and quality targets.
This requires interaction & co-ordination of Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, Suppliers and Commercial activities.
The role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in the end-to-end Manufacturing Programme environment within an Agile framework. The Industrial Operations Programme Delivery – Manufacturing (IOPD-M) function holds a unique position at the heart of manufacturing delivery - from initial strategy and feasibility, through to detail launch planning and delivery and into volume production.
This exciting role will bring you into contact with an extensive number of areas in the business and provide you with an opportunity to develop and utilise your transferrable project management skills in both the planning and delivery of our new products, within a Software and Features Agile group.
