IT Request Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Request Analyst to join our Information Technology team based in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

In this busy and exciting role, you will undertake responsibility for ensuring that requests are dealt with in a professional and timely manner and any potential breach of service level is escalated appropriately - focusing on providing excellent customer service to Bakkavor.

Accountabilities

• Providing routine information on systems, products and services and promptly allocating unresolved calls as appropriate
• Delivering information to enable problem resolution and / or advising known solutions or workarounds, and promptly allocating unresolved calls as appropriate
• Maintaining up-to-date records and informing users about the process and relevant actions taken
• Responding to instructions or following agreed plans, installing or removing hardware and / or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools
• Taking defined action on simple problems, confirming correct functionality of hardware and software installations
• Undertaking routine collection of information and records as directed
• Reporting and escalating unforeseen or exceptional events
• Identifying, registering and categorising requests
• Adhering to IT and company policies, procedures, audit and legal requirements including business continuity and security

About you

Ideally you will have experience within a similar role and familiarity with system software which controls activities such as input, output, dynamic resource allocation, and error reporting, within the operation of a computer configuration.

Identifying, gathering and validating customer requirements in the delivery of IT services will be second nature to you – as will delivering outstanding customer service.
