Here at GXO, we’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Functional IT Specialist to develop and lead our IT projects associated with integration of Warehouse Management Systems.  This is a permanent, full-time position based contractually out of our Central Offices in London.  The role will require flexibility as both National and International travel will be required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Design complex processes for warehouses involving a high level of automation
• Ensure maximum utilisation of standard solutions of the applied WMS
• Lead and manage the IT project and programme work streams across the IT team in Europe
• Lead the functional test phases (WMS and integration)
• Capture and document the project requirements and outcomes in order estimate required resources, timelines, and identify/mitigate risk
• Regular international travel to our warehouses in Europe

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Multiple years of experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems and leading solution design & build phases
• Considerable experience with implementing Reflex WMS
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills for adept engagement with stakeholders at all levels   
• Demonstratable strong project management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple work streams with excellent attention to detail
