At GXO, we are looking for a full time, permanent Project Manager to join our prestigious, Costa contract, the nation’s favourite coffee shop!

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role is designed to develop and support the introduction of enhancements and improvements as part of Continuous Improvement plans. You’ll be accountable for delivering projects within agreed timescales and budgetary constraints.

 

You’ll be covering sites throughout the UK with the main one’s being Manchester, Wellingborough and Feltham, so we are really flexible on where you are based!

 

Predominantly working Monday to Friday, but as with all good roles, flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify savings opportunities
  • Analyse, scope and present savings opportunities and solutions and deliver related projects using agile and other project management methodology
  • Liaise with and manage related external supplier relationships
  • Create/maintain continuous improvement processes to support and enhance the operation
  • Coordinate geographically dispersed teams when onboarding projects whilst measuring output and tracking against financial objectives/targets

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Good working knowledge of multi-temperature logistics environments with basic knowledge of project management methodology and managing full lifecycle projects
  • Ability to work independently, solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with ability to build consensus with various groups, able to motivate and influence
  • Emotional intelligence and self-awareness with proven background in continuous improvement achievements
