GXO are currently looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our M&S food contract, in Bradford. You will be responsible for effectively and efficiently monitoring and managing the quality of stock integrity throughout recovery channels.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00. However, flexibility is essential, this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Monitor the quality standards for the internal recovery channels, while maintaining good communication within the team, management and with other departments in the distribution centre
  • Access every aspect of inventory that travels through the distribution centre
  • Minimise loss through quality controls from inbound and outbound, to include temperature controls
  • Assess and evaluate current recovery QC procedures and recommend update/amend where necessary
  • Ensure that the standards are being maintained within the recovery work areas
  • Take responsibility for health and safety and the co-ordination of associated activities

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with an awareness of food protocols
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office tools and JDA is an advantage (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to take responsibility, demonstrate commitment and lead by example
