GXO is currently looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, based at our head office in either Northampton or London with the potential for flexible working. Reporting to the Global Sales Excellence team, the Market Intelligence Analyst supports  the  sales and marketing teams by providing relevant customer, competitor and industry insights.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Conduct in-depth internal and external analysis on customers, competitors, the market and industry trends for the benefit of our sales teams
• Use your knowledge of the market to proactively identify potential opportunities to our sales teams
• Prepare and publish the monthly reports, for our main competitors and key markets
• Maintain the database on our global competitors and build competitor battle cards via external research and gathering internal insights from the sales teams
• Support senior sales leaders across Europe and the US, implementing new tools, searching for leads and creating sales materials

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Excellent ability to effectively summarise complex information for a variety of audiences and present this in a visually appealing manner
• Previous experience, knowledge or an active interest in the logistics and transport industry, with an understanding of the market and key operational drives
• Effective communicator with the ability to talk to stakeholders across different departments and countries
• The ability to work independently and a proactive approach – this is a role where you’ll always be looking to be ahead of the curve!
