As the Finance Intern you will have ideally have a deep enthusiasm for data and analysis. We seek individuals with outstanding Excel proficiency, who are not just familiar but comfortable with using Excel daily for a variety of tasks and analyses.
For the Finance Internship, you'll be tasked with a variety of critical responsibilities aimed at assisting the financial operations of the business. Your duties will include calculating the costs for both finished products and co-pack products, ensuring you provide adequate support to the business. Additionally, be accountable for monitoring and compiling sales data on a weekly and monthly basis, a key aspect of insightful business trends and performance.
You will also play a supportive role in the analysis of brand profitability, working alongside other team members to assess financial health and identify opportunities for improvement. Another significant aspect of your internship will involve assisting the controller in preparing monthly financial highlights, giving you insight into the broader financial landscape of the company.
Engage in Profit and Loss analysis to aid the controller, a crucial task for maintaining financial stability and growth. Beyond these responsibilities, the internship offers the opportunity to observe and participate in value-add projects, allowing you to apply theoretic knowledge in a practical setting. Additionally, you'll have the chance to attend company-wide business updates and presentations, providing a comprehensive view of the company's operations and strategical direction.
As a Finance intern, you will have a real passion for learning and development as well eagerness to learn and grow. Ideally you will be a recent graduates, gap year participants, or final-year students aiming for a Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Engineering, or similar fields. Your proficiency in managing tasks, collaborating effectively with teams, and especially your strong Excel skills will be crucial for this role.
A keen interest in the consumer goods sector, with a particular focus on chocolates or confectionery, is benefical. You should bring to the role demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities, robust analytical thinking, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is key.
