About the Role

 

This role bridges client service, operations & network management functions. The focus is on supporting the Executive Director, Client Leadership, and the in house Expedia Group Media team in ensuring local market expansion though the OMD network (currently 8 markets and increasing) has ways of working setup & maintained with a high level of durability, day to day project management of planning process timelines, market coordination & forums to enable high quality information flow & collaboration, commercial management of the account, and troubleshooting.

 

This role is about delivering excellent client service, relationship management with markets, and proficiency in account operations, though a solid experience and understanding of media planning is beneficial in being able to succeed in the role as there will be opportunity to support the comms planning function in the team in providing operational support in key moments of Expedia Groups marketing planning process.

 

About You

 

  • Comfortable with both project management (particularly in Agile ways of working) and delivering hands on as required
  • Ability to take unstructured work and build out a defined, documented, and replicable process, both solo and alongside a wider team depending on the nature of the task,
  • Good understanding of the core functioning of media planning & buying
  • High degree of numeracy, particularly relating to budget setting and commercial alignment, along with an ability to be analytical with data in this context
  • Previous experience and success track record in operational and/ or account management role, as well as demonstrated competence handling clients in the day-to-day flow of work, and ability to contribute to productive meetings with senior stakeholders -desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to apply an empathetic approach in managing a broad range of stakeholders across geographies
  • High degree of competence on core Microsoft suite
  • Experience working with local market colleagues in coordinating key work deliverables
  • Experience working within project management systems, e.g., Trello/Jira/Hive an advantage
