Ensure compliance of Enersys Newport Quality Management System to internal and external requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain a Quality Management System compliant with internal and external requirements (ISO 9001:2015, ISO/TS 22163:2017, IATF 16949 and CAA part 21 subpart G and customer specific requirements)
Conduct regular internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness.
Report on process kpis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality procedures, work instructions and training programs.
Develop QMS awareness through coaching and formal training within different levels of the organization.
Ensure QMS is aligned and unified between multiple standards.
Manage customer audit and internal audit schedules.
Support assessment of changes (e.g process and documents) to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
Coordinate communication with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Ensure CAA part 21 subpart G product organization exposition (POE) is updated and improved.
Stay current with industry trends, regulation and best practices related with quality management systems.
Work with other functions to improve business processes (e.g supply chain management, training and development, etc).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Formal education at HNC/HND level or ability to learn.
Internal audit certification (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163 or IATF 16949)
5 years’ experience of working in similar function, preferably within a regulated industry such as automotive or aerospace.
Excellent organizational skills (time management, work planning) with the ability to use resource materials to manage multiple projects.
Experience with core automotive tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, Control plan and PFMEA.
Experience working with QM in a regulated environment (medical, automotive or aerospace)
Several years of auditing experience.
