As an Associate Oracle Applications Analyst you will be at the forefront of implementing and managing Oracle EBS modules while focusing on seamless integration during STERIS acquisitions. Your role will be pivotal in sustaining, enhancing, design, and testing of Oracle EBS modules such as Cash to Order, Supply Chain, and/or Finance.
This is role is considered Hybrid, with the requirement of working onsite at our Mentor, OH Headquarters 3 days per week.
In this role, you will assist and participate in Oracle EBS module implementation adapting systems to align with business and acquisition strategies. This is an important role serving as a bridge between the business requirements and technical solutions through collaboration with project management and technical teams. You will manage change processes ensuring adherence to best practices and provide function and technical expertise regarding Cash to Order, Supply Chain and or Finance. Additional responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Project Leadership and Management - 25%
Partner with project managers in executing and delivering according to the project plan
Act as a liaison between business teams and development team.
Serve as business analyst and project lead for the area of responsibility.
Identify business process gaps and differences between acquisition and STERIS
Manage change requests process
Provide daily and weekly status reports
Coordinate with technical teams for development and delivery of software objects
Provide input to cut over plan
Establish standard work and ensures adherence to best practices
Design, Develop and Configure Systems - 50%
Participate in discovery meetings and site visits
Schedule and conducts design sessions for area of responsibility
Document user requirements
Prepare functional design documents
Prepare configuration documentation (BR100)
Work with acquisition data teams on data conversion templates
Work with boundary application owners to design and develop interfaces
Prepare and perform data reconciliation and validation
Configure Oracle environments for mock, integration, user acceptance testing and production
Research, evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions
Perform testing and evaluation, including proof of concepts and demos of new functionality
Interface with software vendors to facilitate the purchase of services, software and hardware
Work with software vendor support teams to research and resolve issues
Work with DBA and SA teams to implement changes and fixes in all environments
Work on System Change Requests (SCRs)
Technical Support, System Administration and Maintenance - 25%
Maintain standardization and documentation of technology and processes.
Develop and implement training plans to support applications as required.
Provide technical support and maintenance of I.T. systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with system configurations and hardware.
Provide escalation support for System Administrators.
