A look into the role
Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices.

The purpose of the role:
The primary responsibility of this position is to aid in business process opportunities, pinpoint areas for potential transformation, and implement necessary alterations to enhance operational effectiveness.
Be the “go-to” person for system queries, improvement concepts and development requests.
The candidate should be approachable, possess a systematic approach to problem-solving, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Working as Business Transformation Assistant you will:
Support the Transformation team to analyse, record and model current business processes and systems to establish where improvements can be made.
Build and manage positive relationships with internal/ external stakeholders to meet requirements.
Assist with the development and delivery of projects that introduce new initiatives to enhance current business functions.
Drive the move towards improved use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) across the business using the Automation Anytime software already in place.
Support the BT Analyst in moving the reporting functions of the business exclusively to Qliksense outputs.
Undertake UAT for system modifications and upgrades. In particular, this role is to be instrumental in the successful imminent upgrade of our ERP system, Accord.
Support internal departments with training and development and create documentation around process changes.
Develop a good understanding of business systems and assist with relevant queries.
Superuser for IT systems and be a point of contact for IT providers.
Be a positive ambassador for working simpler, faster, better.
Skills for Success
Joining us as Business Transformation Assistant the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
Minimum of 4 GCSEs including English & Maths
Experience of extracting and analysing information
Experience of helping to deliver successful business change or process improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
The Attributes you’ll need include:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proven organisational and planning skills
It is Desirable if you have:
A third level degree in Business/Finance/ IT/ Data or related field
Project delivery experience
Experience of user acceptance testing experience
Experience applying Power Platform in a business environment.
Ability to evaluate and prioritise tasks based on available resources.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools e.g. Qlikview and Qliksense

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
