The Junior Designer works alongside the creative team on a range of ambitious and innovative projects to support clients. This position supports the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects, helping to create impactful designs and ensuring client deliverables are met and exceeded.
• Supports all areas of design from project execution to completion, including support to design teams across various sites and locations.
• Participates in and offers input during brainstorming sessions, creative meetings and client briefs to understand project requirements and concepts.
• Conducts design research to provide information to designers in all locations and stay up-to-date on market trends.
• Assist in creating moodboards, presentations and other materials for the design team and clients.
• Support team with social media exposure.
• Produce attractive and effective designs for all media to share amongst design team.
• Work alongside team in photo studio and prop rooms; assist with preparation for client deliverables.
• Coordinate communications with internal departments, external clients and vendors to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Present designs and research to internal peers across sites.
• Additional duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Design or related field
• 4+ years of previous design experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to work overtime as necessary
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
